Position

Greg has specialised in Insurance and Risk Litigation since 2002.  His case load is high value and complex liability or quantum claims with a particular specialty in EL/PL, medical negligence and travel litigation.  In addition, he leads a team of lawyers who handle motor claims.  As a solicitor advocate he has the ability to handle litigation from cradle to the grave and recently appeared as junior to Andrew Smith QC for a case involving a spectator of the Glasgow Bin lorry tragedy.  He acts for major holiday and tour operators in relation to sickness and accidents abroad including fatalities and catastrophic injuries. In terms of medical negligence, he deals with claims against surgeons, nurses and optometrists and has appeared in Fatal Accident Inquires involving such professions. He acts for many large corporates including hotels, restaurants, waste companies, distribution companies, transport groups and aviation companies and assists them in their EL/PL and motor claims.

Trained HBM Sayers, Edinburgh; qualified 2004; partner BLM 2014 to date, following merger with HBM Sayers.
