Career

Emily is a partner in our Hong Kong office with extensive experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolutions, with a focus in contentious liquidation and insolvency matters, as well as international trade finance disputes.

Emily was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2012.

Prior to joining Stephenson Harwood, Emily worked in the litigation department of a major international firm, and has experience in advising liquidators and provisional liquidators in contentious and non-contentious liquidation matters, as well as shareholders disputes.

Emily is also experienced in regulatory matters having assisted in various investigations conducted by the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, Securities and Futures Commission and Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

Another focus of Emily’s practice is international trade finance disputes. She has acted for various major Chinese banks on their disputes relating to letters of credit.

Emily also has experience in advising clients in arbitration proceedings with the HKIAC.

Emily speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
