Govan principally acts for landowners large and small on full range of property and diversification interest, large scale option and collaboration agreements, mineral and energy development and site disposal and development for developers. Recent work includes advising on complicated building licences on a 2,300 scheme etc.

New clients are often recommended to Govan by leading teams of surveyors for the practical, commercial and timely advice that he and the department can give to their clients. Often involving more specialist areas including farm sale and purchase, mineral exploitation and wind farm development.
