Cathy is a former Partner in the private client department specialising in wills, tax planning, probate administration, estates and trusts.
Cathy has worked in the field of Wills, trusts and probate since she qualified as a lawyer more than 33 years ago. Her particular interests are in wills and probates with an international dimension. She works closely with our French law team to provide advice on succession issues for UK clients owning property in France. Cathy also provides a lot of specialist succession advice to our extensive rural client base. This can involve wills, tax planning either for diversification or handing on to the younger generation and administration of estates qualifying for Agricultural Property Relief or Business Property Relief.
