Penelope has extensive experience in advising charities and not-for-profit organisations on a wide range of constitutional and governance matters, including changes to governing documents, mergers and incorporations. She regularly advises charities on trading issues and arrangements with their trading subsidiaries. Penelope also has considerable experience in advising on the establishment of new charities and their registration with the Charity Commission. She enjoys providing training to charity trustees and working with charities to improve their governance arrangements. Penelope advises on charity law issues relating to the administration of grant-making charities, including grant-making policies, grant conditions and investment powers. Penelope is a member of the Charity Law Association.
