Sara advises corporate clients across a wide range of sectors, including retail and leisure as well as small family run businesses and high net worth individuals in relation to the whole range of employment and HR issues. She advises in house counsel and HR teams on issues ranging from recruitment and termination of employment, enforcement of restrictive covenants and confidential information, managing employee performance, family friendly policies, restructuring programmes and business transfers. Sara has wide-ranging experience in defending and bringing claims for discrimination and unfair dismissal in the employment tribunal and defending breach of contract claims in the High Court. She has published material on subjects such as discrimination, data protection, bonuses and redundancies. Sara regularly speaks at internal and external seminars on employment law issues, including the firm’s Managing People Series of seminars designed to give practical advice to HR professionals on handling matters such as sickness and disability, poor performance and equality in the workplace.
