Career

After graduating from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom in 2008, Joshua acquired his Certificate in Legal Practice in 2009.  He has been in practice in Malaysia since 2010 and became a partner of the firm in 2018.

Joshua concentrates on construction law, particularly formal dispute resolution by way of litigation, arbitration and adjudication, and has appeared as lead and junior counsel at all levels of the Malaysian court system.  His dispute resolution experience also encompasses other areas including shipping, tenancy, property sale and purchase agreements and other disputes arising from commercial agreements.  In addition, he has advised on and drafted contracts and project documentation for players in the construction industry.

Joshua was a Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators for the years 2012-2016.
