Anthony Harper handles a varied roster of real estate and construction mandates, leveraging its expertise in contentious and non-contentious matters. For construction, the ‘proactive’ and ‘versatile’ team is highly skilled in infrastructure projects, where it tends to provide advice on risk management, procurement and litigation relating to schedule delays and breach of contract issues. In terms of real estate, prominent work includes capital markets transactions requiring the acquisition and disposal of office blocks, shopping malls and retail centres. Ed Dunphy and Karen Kemp, a specialist in litigation, co-head the practice alongside commercial property expert Tim Barclay, who ‘goes all the way to support client needs’. Tim Bunker is another key contact, as well as Christchurch-based senior associate Jessica Hanning. All other named partners are based in Auckland.
