Position

Kurniawan Tanzil heads the Banking & Finance department of M&T. He has broad expertise in legal matters, and has been involved in various types of banking and finance transactions as well as corporate and commercial lending and finance arrangements. His wide range of experience in banking & finance is supported by his extensive knowledge and experience in corporate & commercial areas.

His practice highlights include the representation of domestic and international clients in financing transactions (including project finance), mergers and acquisitions, debt restructurings, aviation, TMT related transactions as well as capital market transactions (such as Initial Public Offerings (IPO). Kurniawan is also experienced in establishing foreign investment companies and advising clients on various manpower related matters. He is also an accomplished sworn translator.
