Position

Heru Mardijarto is a Partner at Makarim & Taira S. with extensive experience in corporate and commercial legal matters from both the public and private sectors. With over 23 years of practice, he has built an impressive track record representing multinational corporations and state-owned enterprises. His expertise includes handling major construction projects across Indonesia, such as the Grissik-Singapore gas pipeline, large power plants, geothermal projects and telecommunication towers, among many others.

In addition to his law degree, Heru holds a master’s degree in business administration from University of Southern New Hampshire, Graduate School of Business in the United States. This combination of legal and business education gives him a well-rounded perspective and a competitive edge as a commercial lawyer.

Heru specializes in Construction Law, providing regulatory guidance and litigation counselling. He advises clients at every stage of complex construction projects, from procurement to project planning and financing, negotiation, contract drafting and administration, claims resolution and post-completion phases.

His personal approach has enabled him to build reliable networks through an in-depth understanding of clients’ needs. This allows him to provide responsive and thoughtful guidance on a day-to-day basis, while also keeping sight of the bigger picture.
