Mr. Wu worked in the Legal Affairs Department of Fujian Jiuzhou Group Ltd. from August of 1997 to April of 2004. Then he worked in the Xiamen Lihai Law Firm of Fujian Province from May of 2000 to April of 2001. Mr. Wu joined Jingtian & Gongcheng in May of 2001 and became a partner in 2006.
Mr. Wu specializes in M & A, FDI, Project Finance and Financial Leasing. In the area of M & A, Mr. Wu has represented foreign investors in several cross border transactions, providing comprehensive legal services such as due diligence investigation, the design of business structure and relevant negotiations, etc. The major M & A cases include CITIC Pacific’s acquisition of DAYE Special Steel Co., Ltd.; certain cooperation project between SinoGold Mining Limited and Eldorado Gold Corporation of Canada, etc.
His major publication is “Recent Development in the Legal Framework regarding Project Financing in China”.
