Alvin graduated from Peking University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in litigation law from Peking University. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2009 with a degree in LLM. Alvin obtained a Chinese lawyer’s license in 2005 and obtained a New York State lawyer’s license in 2010.

Prior to joining Jingtian & Gongcheng as a partner in July 2018, Alvin worked in the real estate department of Zhonglun Law Firm Beijing Office for more than 13 years.

Alvin’s main areas of practice include real estate development, real estate investment and financing, fund investments, and foreign investment mergers and acquisitions. Especially in the real estate sector, Alvin has extensive experience in real estate development, land acquisition, real estate project transfer, engineering construction and commercial housing sales. In the real estate industry chain, Alvin’s practice experience involves commercial real estate development, cultural travel development, residential project development and pension real estate. In addition, Alvin is involved in private equity financing, overseas listing, overseas bond issuance and corporate bond projects related to real estate mergers and acquisitions, as well as projects related to foreign investment and fund investment.

In recent years, Alvin has provided legal services to clients including Vanke, Poly, China Merchants Property, CITIC Securities, Morgan Stanley, CITIC Pacific, VitalHealth, RoseRock, COFCO, Gengtang, Huagai Capital, Harvest Fund, China Resources Trust, DBS. Banks, China Mengniu and other customers at home and abroad, and undertake such major financing projects as China Railway Bonds with a circulation of 100 billion yuan, SOHO China overseas listing, and MIE overseas listing. In addition, Alvin’s article “Exchange Market Panda Debt: Raising Funds, Use and Other Legal Issues” was selected and published in 2017.

Alvin was selected by LEGALBAND as a rising star in real estate and construction engineering in 2014. One of Alvin’s projects was nominated for the ALB China Law Awards Best Real Estate Trading Award and the Best Bond Trading Award of the Year in 2009.
