An M&A, securities transactions and corporate governance specialist, he has the technical expertise to back up his track record. Andrew has a 20-year reputation for delivering high quality results in groundbreaking transactions. His experience includes significant resources, infrastructure and property transactions. He acted for Yanzhou Coal Mining Company in its $3.5 billion takeover of Felix Resources, the largest successful acquisition by a Chinese company in the Australian coal sector and one of the largest completed deals in Australia in that year. Andrew advises corporate clients in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance, as well as contested and negotiated takeovers and corporate and securities law matters.

Corrs Chambers Westgarth made a wave in the market with the hire of a private equity team from Minter Ellison, with Riccardo Casali, Glen Sauer and Chris Allen joining the Sydney office in mid-2021.
