The growing competition and international trade team at Corrs Chambers Westgarth advises on the full range of competition, antitrust and regulatory issues, with a core focus on merger control, cartel defence, behavioural investigations and antitrust litigation. The team also routinely advises on multi-jurisdictional mergers within the healthcare, energy, telecoms and financial services sectors. Mark McCowan leads the competition side of the team, with a workload containing a mixture of high profile merger clearances, major investigations and litigation cases. The international trade work is led by Andrew Korbel  who represents private and public sector clients on complex commercial litigation and public law disputes. In the trade space, he works with clients to navigate trade investigations and disputes on a national and international level. Ian Reynolds was promoted to special counsel this year, managing complex mergers, cartels and investigations.
