Career

A lawyer with over 18 years’ experience in private practice, Megan advises sponsors, borrowers and financiers in relation to financing transactions, with a particular focus on corporate, acquisition and property finance.

Megan has been at Corrs Chambers Westgarth since 2003, working in the Property and Infrastructure team for two years before moving to the Banking and Finance team in 2005.  Megan was seconded to Westpac Institutional Bank’s legal team for six months in 2007 and to ANZ’s loans structuring and execution team for three months in 2009.  Prior to Corrs, Megan worked as an attorney in South Africa for two years. She requalified in Australia and was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales in 2004.

She also has expertise in social and affordable housing project financing. Megan is a member of the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association.
