Career

Known for her strategic approach, Leanne specialises in town planning, local government and environmental law, including heritage conservation. She has a broad range of legal and litigation experience, particularly with the conduct of quasi-criminal prosecutions. Additional to her lectures on the subjects of Planning Law and Regulatory Frameworks in Environmental Management, in February 2009, Leanne’s legal text, Enforcement of Planning and Environmental Laws in Queensland was published. To complement her knowledge in this area, in 2012 Leanne was appointment by the State Government as a member of the Queensland Heritage Council. Leanne is noted for her understanding of her clients’ business needs and ability to provide pragmatic and relevant advice.
