Greg Pooler, Senior Associate, has worked on a wide variety of complex and high value commercial disputes in the banking and financial sectors.
He also has particular experience of professional negligence claims, representing both claimants and defendants. Greg also has extensive experience of cross-border disputes and international arbitration.
Greg’s notable cases include acting for Cattles and Welcome in a multi-million pound professional negligence claim against PwC, acting for Bank Saint Petersburg in Bank St Petersburg v. Arkhangelsky [2018] EWHC 1077 (Ch) in relation to Mr Arkhangelsky’s default under various loans including a cross-claims against the bank for US500m in damages and has advised a professional services firm in relation to claims brought by former participants in a high profile failed tax avoidance scheme.
Greg’s clients have included banks, professional services firms, financial institutions and high net-worth individuals..
Greg joins Sherrards solicitors Litigation & Dispute Resolution department from Grosvenor Law. Prior to that he spent three years with RPC and a further six years with Ashurst.
