Career

James represents regional and global private equity funds in their investment activities in New Zealand. He is recognised for his depth of experience in mergers and acquisitions and large securities offerings coupled with his technical excellence, transaction management and negotiation skills.

James acts as counsel on international investments into New Zealand for financial sponsor clients and multi-nationals and has led major transactions and securities offerings across Australasia.

He has extensive experience in initial public offerings on the New Zealand Stock Exchange, and for New Zealand-based companies in international public offerings and listings, including on the NASDAQ. James regularly advises underwriters and lead managers on their roles in public offerings.
