Career

Kenn’s practice covers a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign investments and private equity transactions.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Kenn regularly acts for companies in a spectrum of industries in various domestic and cross-border corporate transactions.

Kenn graduated from the Australian National University with an LLB (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Major). He was called to the Singapore Bar in 2014.

 

Some of Kenn’s notable transactions:

  1. Acted for Edmund Tie & Company (SEA) Pte Ltd in connection with its joint venture with OrangeTee Holdings Pte Ltd to form the third largest real estate agency in Singapore with a combined force of over 4,000 associates;
  2. Acted for SUTL Enterprise Ltd in its acquisition of a 60% stake in Makham Bay Marina Co Ltd to construct and operate an integrated marina club in Phuket, under the ONE°15 brand;
  3. Acted for the purchaser of a 54-metre Admiral superyacht “Sea Force One”;
  4. Acted for a leading private specialist medical group in its internal restructuring and the subsequent investment into the group by a Temasek-linked private equity fund;
  5. Acted for SUTL Marina Holdings Pte Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of SGX mainboard listed company, SUTL Enterprise Ltd) in its joint venture with UEM Land Berhad to develop a private marina, mega yacht marina and public marina in Puteri Harbour Malaysia, under the ONE°15 brand, as part of a premium integrated marina project in the region;
