He brings 40 years of experience in Corporate and Commercial matters including dispute resolution, aviation,  lease and finance structuring  in more than 750 transactions, refinancing , Sale and leasebacks and others, extensive 120 M&As. Advised several Fortune500 companies on JVs, mergers, demergers et al.  Clients include almost all major Aircraft Lessors and Manufacturers, International Banks, Export Credit Agencies, such as KfW, Macquarie, Boeing, Airbus, Avolon, Aircastle, ELFC, Alafco, BNPP etc, and the Government.

He was the president of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association in 2004. The Bar Association of India conferred its highest honour on him. He served as chair of the Aviation Committee of the International Bar Association.

Was recognized several times by Chambers, Euromoney, Legal500 et al., as one of India’s leading lawyers. He authored, co-authored or edited a number of books and papers on India’s business and corporate laws and has lectured or presented papers at major financial centres of the world including New York, London, Oxford, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Chicago et al.
