Career

Ruby handles an extensive range of Intellectual Property (IP) work, with a focus on trade marks, passing off, domain name recovery and copyright law.

She regularly advises on brand strategy management, optimization and IP enforcement (trade marks, passing off copyright, registered designs and domain name recovery) in Singapore and South East Asia.

On the transactional front, her work includes negotiating and drafting IP-related agreements arising from the acquisition or licensing of IP rights and IP due diligence. She is also involved in advising on advertising and promotions, product packaging for compliance with local regulations and best practices relating to use of third party trade marks and copyright. 

Years of experience of working with clients across a broad range of industries, including telecommunications, publishing, entertainment, food and beverage, medical and pharmaceuticals, hospitality, consumer goods, technology and fashion industries, have given her valuable insight into these industries.
