Ms.Suzuki practices corporate and securities law, concentrating on cross-border mergers and acquisitions. She has represented numerous public and private companies in complex commercial transactions including mergers, acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, divestitures, joint ventures and equity and debt financings. Ms.Suzuki has worked with both Japanese and foreign companies in a variety of industries, including financial services, Internet, media, communications, energy and life science.

Ms.Suzuki also has extensive experience advising clients on various data protection and privacy issues.

She is admitted to bar in Japan and New York. Ms. Suzuki’s recent publications include:Lexology Getting the Deal Through – Data Protection & Privacy 2020 Japan (Law Business Research Ltd) and Recent Developments in Japanese Insider Trading Regulations in the Context of M&A – Mergers & Acquisitons Law Guide 2013/14 (LexisNexis, 2013).
