Position

Karen is a partner and Head of the Commercial employment and HR group, advising both employers and employees and offering pragmatic legal advice in all areas of employment law and HR ranging from discrimination to unfair dismissal and everything else in between.

Karen is also qualified in business and finance as well as law and HR and has a wide range of business experience gained over the past 35 years. This makes Karen’s approach unique as she is not only in a position to advise clients from an employment law perspective but she can also attend employee meetings to provide personal HR support.

Karen is also CIPD qualified (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), which enables her to take a holistic approach across a wide range of HR matters including grievances and disciplinary hearings, adding an element of objectivity and impartiality to any sensitive situation. Karen prides herself on being fully immersed into the legal issues of her clients, and forms strong relationships to ensure positive outcomes.
