Lawyer Rankings

North West > Private client > Family

The ‘effective and collaborative’ practice at SAS Daniels LLP is particularly strong due to the dual-specialism of the lawyers in the team, with each member active on both divorce and financial remedy work, as well as complex children matters. Helming high-value cases for clients across a range of professions, department head Shelley Chesworth has considerable experience engaging in children advocacy work, with recent cases involving enforcement and non-molestation proceedings. Furthermore, she competently handles the steady stream of nuptial agreement mandates that the firm has seen an uptick in over the past twelve months. The ‘extremely diligent’ Anita Scorah has been active on issues regarding medical assessments and capacity concerns and is extremely capable in liaising with public bodies and local authorities in matters that span multiple jurisdictions. Claire Porter is a trusted port of call for clients with complex pension structures and business assets, while Cheryl Haywood has a broad practice that is largely concentrated on relocation cases and issues of domestic abuse and coercive control.
