Nicola is an associate solicitor specialising in International Travel Litigation at Slater and Gordon in Manchester.

She specialises in foreign accidents and contractual disputes with international aspects involving cross border issues.

During her career Nicola has undertaken a wide variety of work across a number of jurisdictions.

As a result, she boasts a strong working knowledge of the different legal systems in European countries.

Nicola has acted for individuals involved in accidents occurring on package holidays, road traffic accidents overseas and illness cases that occur abroad.

She also has experience of working on injuries involving chronic pain, fibromyalgia and Legionnaires Disease.


Nicola began her legal career in 2010 at Pannone Solicitors and joined Slater and Gordon in 2014.

Primarily based across its London and Manchester offices, Slater and Gordon has ‘in-depth and complete knowledge’ of travel-related personal injury work and acts for claimants who have sustained catastrophic injury abroad, as well as defendants on personal injury and other travel-related claims. It represented the family of an individual who was killed in the terrorist attacks in Sousse, Tunisia, and represents the legal guardian of two children whose parents and grandmother were shot and killed in France in 2012.  Recently promoted principal lawyer Kieran Mitchell is a ‘highly effective negotiator’ and heads the travel litigation team. Senior associates Stephen Goodman and Nicola Rostron, who was recently promoted, are also recommended.  Joanne Brine has joined JMW Solicitors LLP.
