Elizabeth joined the firm in 2013. Having worked extensively in the private client field she has an in depth knowledge of the key legal issues faced by individuals in particular those relating to capital tax planning, land and business succession, probate administration, and managing incapacity. In 2001 Elizabeth was appointed to the Court of Protection’s Panel of deputies and undertakes a considerable amount of work in this field including contentious and non-contentious Court of Protection work.

She has a particular understanding in the use of trusts to protect and preserve assets, particularly where there is a need to cater for vulnerable beneficiaries. As a result of this expertise, she has been entrusted to act as professional trustee/deputy/attorney for numerous clients. Elizabeth has worked with a wide range of individuals, including a large proportion of families involved in agriculture and the management of landed estates where business and family issues are often intrinsically linked.
