Position

Hannah is a partner in RK’s Dispute Resolution Group, specialising in financial services disputes and commercial litigation, both domestic and cross-border.

Hannah has significant experience of acting for banks (investment and retail) and other financial institutions, corporates and ultra high net worth individuals on a broad range of complex disputes. Typical instructions include litigation relating to derivatives and other financial products, mis-selling claims, contractual disputes, claims in relation to fraud and asset recovery, joint venture / shareholder disputes and claims with an anti-money laundering angle. Although the majority of Hannah’s work involves claims in the English High Court, she also has experience of mediation, international arbitration, appeals, Upper Tribunal proceedings and BVI High Court proceedings, as well as coordinating related proceedings across several jurisdictions.

In addition, Hannah advises on contentious regulatory matters, including representing clients facing FCA enforcement action, responding to information requests from overseas regulators and conducting internal investigations.

Hannah qualified as a solicitor in 2006, and became a solicitor advocate in 2012. She has spent time on secondment at two major banks.

Hannah is recognised in The Legal 500, UK edition as being “an excellent technical lawyer with an eye for detail, but also a strategic thinker, who always provides sound tactical and commercial advice. Hannah is very easy to work with and extremely responsive, and I trust her to get the best possible results for me.”
