Position

Nick is a partner specialising in internatinal fraud and commercial litigation. He acts for individuals and financial and corporate institutions in a wide range of fraud and commercial litigation matters involving asset recovery, shareholder and director’s disputes, professional negligence and insolvency. He has extensive experience in managing and and conducting complex and high value litigation in both domestic and international forums and in coordinating lareg teams of lawyers and other professionals across a number of different jurisdictions. He is particularly accomplished in seeking freezing, search and disclosure orders both domestically and simultaneously across various foreign  jurisdictions, particularly in support and enforcement of foriegn proceedings and judgments. Recent cases in which he has acted include JSC VTB Bank v Pavel Skurikhin, Dar Al Arkan and Bank Alkhair v Majid Al Refai and Others, The Ritz Hotel Casino Limited v Al Geabury, and Jennington v the Assaubayev Family.
 

Career

Trained with Blyth Dutton/Lawrence Graham (now Gowlings WLG LLP); Qualified in 1991 with Lawrence Graham; in 1995 joined Speechly Bircham (now Charles Russell Speechlys); in 2007 joined Gherson and subsequently Brown Rudnick before joining PCB LItigation in 2009
