Andrew is the head of the Property department comprising the residential, commercial property, landed estates and construction teams.  Andrew acts for wealthy individuals, investors, developers and institutions, including banks and property funds.

Development and Commercial

His skills include advising on acquisition and disposal of investment property options to realise development potential, site assembly, joint ventures between developers and investors, leases, overages, construction and funding.

Residential

Andrew advises on residential property and private family offices.  He is best known in prime Central London to wealthy foreign investors, whose private offices may be unfamiliar with the nuances and the sophisticated regime of buying UK property.  He is able to fulfil the role of both trusted advisor and decision maker, coordinating everything from appointing professionals, negotiating the price, instructing contractors to employing staff.

Andrew has many close contacts with foreign nationals and is regarded as having a vital overview for investment into the UK.   He supports the Arab/British Chamber of Commerce in London and heads the firm’s Middle East and Scandinavian desks.

Funding and Tax

He also acts for several private banks on their secured lending and works closely with tax advisors for property investment into the UK.

Estates

He acts for landowners and charities on the promotion and development of residential and commercial estates both urban and rural.  He is aware of the need to balance the sensitivities of Landowners whose requirements for  continuity and design control differ from the short term aspirations of developers.  He has an excellent reputation in the purchase, development and disposal of high value residential property and Estates where his knowledge is vital to the firm’s clients who rely on him to find solutions and where possible add value.
