I have an ability to explain tax matters in a simple manner, with a wealth of experience gained from working in tax for over 30 years.

My expertise is personal tax services, ranging from compliance to advisory.   This includes the preparation of annual self assessment tax returns, together with the associated pages and using the latest software to submit tax returns online to HMRC.  Then there is advisory work, helping you to plan your tax affairs and make the most of the tax breaks which are available.  I can advise on capital gains tax issues, prepare tax calculations and, where possible, suggest ways of mitigating the liability.

I am also responsible for the Trust administration work within Paris Smith, which involves the preparation of annual accounts, the completion of inheritance tax and self assessment trust tax returns, and helping you to arrange the investment of trust funds.

I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
