Commercial contracts

Within: Commercial contracts

Osborne Clarke LLP leverages its UK and international network to handle all types of commercially-sensitive and high-value domestic and cross-border agreements. One of the sweet spots of the practice is in digital business, media and advertising, where members of the team advise on outsourcing, general commercial contracts (including supply, agency, advertising and cooperation agreements) and IT contracts. The team, which is jointly led by John Buyers and Lara Burch, also has a wealth of experience of agreements connected with highly regulated industries, such as energy, healthcare/life sciences, financial services and transport (particularly rail). Burch, Will Robertson and others advise Western Power Distribution on all of its procurement contracts, including those for key equipment and assets, such as switchgear and IT contractcs. Another client is medical products supplier GAMA Healthcare, for whom Burch, and senior associates Zoe Hodgins and Jane Whitcombe have developed a suite of contracts to facilitate the distribution of its products by distributors across multiple jurisdictions, as well as distribution agreements where the client is the distributor for another manufacturer's products. Simon Spooner, Mark Taylor, Nick Johnson and Ian McKenzie are among other recommended individuals. In 2017, Tamara Quinn and Nina Cummins joined from Berwin Leighton Paisner and Facebook respectively.
