Career

Tim is our Senior Partner and has specialised exclusively in Dispute Resolution work with an emphasis on Commercial Litigation throughout his Legal Career which is now for more than 35 years. He has been with Myerson for 24 years.  He was the Head of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department until 2016. 

He deals with complex commercial litigation disputes including Professional Negligence, Contract and Commercial disputes, Shareholder and Director issues such as Unfair Prejudice Petitions and Breaches of Director’s duties, Insolvency matters such as misfeasance and transactions at an undervalue, Partnership Disputes and Property Litigation. He is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

Led by Tim Norman, Myerson Solicitors LLP's claimant-focused professional negligence practice works in tandem with the firm's other practices, particularly in relation to property litigation, construction and conveyancing, while also pursuing negligence claims against solicitors and accountants. The firm was boosted in 2018 by the arrival of Sean Hackett - who has a track record in professional negligence claims arising out of property related matters - from Pannone Corporate LLP.

Myerson Solicitors LLP acts for regional and national property developers on a range of matters including restrictive covenants, access rights, telecoms tenancies, rights of light and site clearance strategies. The team is also regularly instructed by landlords, management companies and managing agents of long leasehold residential portfolios and residential investment portfolios; and also acts for commercial landlords and tenants on portfolio management matters.
