Joanne advises on all aspects of employment law and is a trusted business adviser to major clients across diverse industry sectors. She is an experienced Employment Tribunal advocate and deals with complex and high-value claims and multi-party and group actions. She is also very experienced in advising both employers and executives in relation to executive terminations and settlement agreements.

Career

Jo has worked as an employment law specialist for over 20 years at a number of leading commercial firms. She joined Myerson from Eversheds in 2009 and was promoted to partner in 2013.  The six strong Employment team at Myerson is described as “excellent” in the independent legal directory, the Legal 500.

Education

Jo qualified as a solicitor in 1994 after gaining her Law Degree from the University of Leeds. She completed her training contract at Gordons LLP and worked at different commercial firms before joining our firm in 2009. She became a partner in 2013.
