A firm with roots dating back to 1982, Cheshire-based Myerson Solicitors LLP advises on a broad range of family issues. Working closely with the agricultural and contentious trusts and probate team, the department is able to provide a holistic service to clients, regularly working with rural families with farmland or livestock. Fielding a bench consisting of both experienced litigators and mediators, the practice is well versed in private FDRs as well as complex financial remedy proceedings in the Manchester Family Court, among others. Team head Jane Tenquist handles high-net worth matrimonial finance matters, and is well accustomed to extensive business, trusts and foreign assets; she is also well regarded as an expert in nuptial agreements. Nichola Bright adds valuable capabilities in fertility and surrogacy law, including Parental Orders, and routinely works alongside Sarah Whitelegge who shows adeptness representing clients in children cases involving abuse and habitual residence disputes. Rachel Forster‘s commercial background is paramount to cases involving business assets held in complex corporate structures.
