Nicola joined Myerson’s Probate Litigation team as a Senior Solicitor in 2021.

Her studies culminated in 2008 when she was Highly Commended by the Law Society having achieved the best overall student in her Legal Practice Course year group. 

She commenced her training contract at a regional firm in 2008 and qualified in 2010.

Nicola is meticulous and an experienced litigator, having conducted cases in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.  She has acted for and against a broad range of individuals and organisations in countless aspects of commercial dispute resolution, including high-value cases involving seven-figure sums.

Her contentious probate experience includes disputes as to the validity of wills, claims against personal representatives, trustees and professionals, applications for the removal of executors, as well as burial disputes and disputes concerning estate assets.

Nicola’s approachable personality enables her to explain complex legal and procedural issues in a down to earth manner.  She understands that her clients are people and that their cases matter.  She is professional and approachable, and she will tailor her communications style to meet the expectations of her audience.

Nicola applies herself to each piece of work with rigorous attention to detail, keeping her clients advised and well informed.

Myerson Solicitors LLP exclusively works on complex contentious trust and probate matters. It is especially experienced advising on claims for reasonable financial provision under the Inheritance Act. Practice head Helen Thompson is considered ‘a true companion‘ by her clients for her litigation work, while Adam Maher leads the dispute resolution team and is a key contact regarding related shareholder dispute instructions.
