SIP Law Firm is a leading law firm in Indonesia. While it is distinctively known for its excellence in the area of litigation and dispute resolution, the firm offers full-service solutions in other core legal practice areas: restructuring and insolvency, medical and healthcare, corporate and investment, capital markets, property, mining, banking; insurance, criminal law, family law, privacy and data protection, intellectual property, and labour.
Founded in 2011 by Safitri H. Saptogino and Zubaidah Jufri, the firm has rapidly expanded and now has a team of over 60 lawyers with a principal office in Jakarta and associated offices in Surabaya and Yogyakarta. Zubaidah is the current managing partner of the firm.
Forming a partnership with Singapore-based Donaldson & Burkinshaw LLP, the firm extends its wide range of cross-border transactional, regulatory, advisory, dispute resolution, and intellectual property rights services to a regional clientele and beyond. In addition, the firm has been an exclusive member of PrivacyRules in Indonesia since 2019. PrivacyRules is the only worldwide network of experts offering integrated legal, technological, and data crisis communication solutions related to privacy issues.
Through its consistent client-focused approach, the firm has been representing the interests of domestic and international clients on diverse business contracts and transactions in Indonesia. The firm’s clients include government institutions, state-owned enterprises, public and private companies from various industries, ranging from financial services, health and medical services, real estate and property, industrial and manufacturing to retail and consumer goods. The firm also offers assistance for the establishment of domestic and foreign direct investment companies as well as intellectual property rights protection services.
In the last four years, the firm has been granted a series of national and international recognitions from reputable organizations such as: Asian Legal Business, HukumOnline.com, Asia Law, IFLR1000 and Legal500.
