Nadim is a Partner in the Corporate department and a member of the Private Equity group.

He has significant experience in private equity, with particular expertise in advising private equity investors and management teams on buy-outs and group reorganisations. He also has a wealth of experience advising dynamic corporates on mergers and acquisitions, fundraisings and joint ventures.

Nadim's private equity expertise attracts a variety of clients, from entrepreneurs to international listed companies. He is active in the leisure, consumer, and retail industries. He also undertakes significant work in the business services sector, with recent instructions from recruitment and food service entities.

Mishcon de Reya LLP provides an ‘exceptional’ standard of service, and its team is noted for its ‘quality of work, commercial knowledge and experience, responsiveness and attention to detail’. Nick Davis heads the team and is singled out for his ‘first-rate knowledge’ of the recruitment and professional services industry and for his ‘pragmatic approach to getting deals done’. Andrew Rimmington is noted for his experience in fintech, software and e-commerce, among others, and recently advised Canouan Resorts on the sale of a majority stake of its holding company. Ross Bryson and senior associate Lucinda Brendon (who are ‘exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging lawyers’) acted on the share sale of Capital & Counties Properties sale of its Olympia London exhibition business for £296m. Dean Poster is a ‘highly intelligent, experienced commercial lawyer who sees the bigger picture’; he and Nadim Meer advised the management of LINPAC on the company’s €450m sale to The Klöckner Pentaplast Group.

Kevin McCarthy's team at Mishcon de Reya LLP has a particularly strong reputation advising management teams on mid-cap private equity transactions, where it draws upon its expertise in areas such as M&A, employment, tax and real estate to cover a wide range of issues. In 2017, Simon Sale led a multidisciplinary team, which advised the management team of Brandon Tool Hire Group Limited on the £69m sale of the company by Rutland Partners to VP Plc. In addition, Sale and others assisted the management team of Search Consultancy with the MBO by H2 Equity Partners. Elsewhere, the firm also generates work from other clients, including family offices and private funds. McCarthy's team also includes Andrew RimmingtonNadim MeerMichael Nouril and tax expert John Skoulding. Another name to note is legal director Allison Keyse, whose transactional experience spans sectors such as oil and gas, retail and financial services.
