Jessica MedusMishcon de Reya LLP

Mishcon de Reya LLP has an excellent profile in the market – ‘news that they are on the other side of a case strikes fear. They have real expertise and experience and are very hardworking and capable of handling the biggest cases’. Under the joint leadership of Mark Keenan and Peter Steen, the team is flourishing. It specialises in complex intra-family and high-value domestic and international trust and succession disputes. These cases often involve elements of asset tracing and recovery in offshore jurisdictions. Other areas of expertise include handling breach of trust and proprietary estoppel claims. Jessica Medus is another key member of the department whose work often has an international element. Victoria Sara-Kennedy is now ‘of counsel’- she has a broad range of experience in advising on contentious trusts and estates. Emilia Piskorz has particular expertise in advising corporate and individual trustees, beneficiaries and those with an interest in an estate.
