Position
Nick is a Partner and Head of the Real Estate Finance Group.
He has extensive experience advising financial institutions, funds, developers and investors on all aspects of real estate finance transactions, including on investment, development and structured financings (with senior mezzanine debt). He acts on both the lender and sponsor side, and also has considerable experience of acting on restructuring and enforcements.
Recent matters include advising a well-known developer on its financing of a large mixed-use development at Paddington, representing a consortium of lenders on the refinancing of a portfolio of UK shopping centres, acting for a state-owned bank on the receivership of a large London mixed-use development, and advising a consortium on their equity bridge facilities relating to the securitisation of properties held by a national supermarket.
