Position
Nicola is an Managing Associate in the Tax Group in Mishcon Private.
Her broad practice areas combine advising on both corporate tax and personal tax matters for individuals, families, trusts companies and other legal entities, whether based in the UK or overseas.
On the Private Client side, Nicola advises on estate planning, tax residence, domicile, the remittance basis, sales and acquisitions. On the Corporate tax side, she has experience of advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, corporate financings, and the tax efficient holding, acquisition and disposal of business assets and real estate.
Owing to her hybrid knowledge of both personal and corporate tax, Nicola regularly advises owner managers, companies and individuals in respect of their corporate holdings. Nicola also advises clients with business interests and personal wealth in the US and the UK as part of the US/UK Tax and Wealth Planning team.
Nicola is Co-Editor of Mishcon’s quarterly tax publication, Tax Aware.
Nicola is ranked as a “key lawyer” in the Legal 500. She is also recognised by the Citywealth Leaders List, and a member of Women in Tax.
Nicola is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA qualified).
