Career

Dr Majdzadeh,  advises domestic and foreign clients on disputes, corporate, contract and commercial matters, with a specialty in maritime and transport law. He has previously practiced at a number of local law firms for some eight years including a tier-1 law firm ranked by both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners in Tehran.

Dr Majdzadeh completed an internship at UNCITRAL in Vienna, where he worked on development of a legal toolkit facilitating accession by member states to the Rotterdam Rules. He has also worked with the Judiciary Institute’s Office of Technical Relations and Cooperation as a research associate. He has also contributed to Chambers & Partners “Doing Business in Iran” guide of 2020, the World Bank Group “Doing Business” report of 2021, and OneTrust 2020 guide on “Data Protection in Iran’s Financial Sector”.
