Barnes Law Associates are a boutique commercial law firm based in the heart of Mayfair. We provide an exclusive and personally tailored service to high-net-worth individuals and both national and international businesses. Our boutique firm specialises in providing commercial and corporate law, contractual law and employment law services.
The firm: We focus on providing commercial legal advice and services to businesses and individuals. We are proud to represent a variety of businesses, financial institutions and individual clients in a wide range of matters.
Founded by Yulia Barnes in 2019, the firm has developed an impressive track record of reaching compromises through mediation, rather than needing to formally litigate in the courts. We work exclusively with the most qualified lawyers who all have excellent track records: this is central to our philosophy of putting clients first. We operate with a hands-on approach, giving you flexibility, greater focus and an expert on the floor of your business.
We pride ourselves on providing a personalised client service. We work closely with you to understand your goals and what’s necessary to achieve them. We are highly focused and work collaboratively, creatively, innovatively and proactively to ensure that we understand and execute your objectives and commercial drivers. The team: Yulia Barnes is our managing partner. She is an experienced solicitor and advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters for both private and corporate clients.
Yulia has a wealth of experience working with businesses of all sizes: from large multinational corporations to small start-ups, as well as catering to high net-worth individuals. She first qualified in Russia, followed by England & Wales in 2009. She worked at a large international Magic Circle firm, after which she became partner at a regional firm. She then moved in-house before starting her own practice, Barnes Law, in 2019 (more details can be found on her LinkedIn profile).
Yulia and her team are widely recognised for their professional and practical approach. She is committed to ensuring that her clients’ objectives are achieved in the most cost-effective way possible.
