Position

Robert is a construction and engineering lawyer, specialising in the non-contentious sector. Robert advises on all forms of industry-standard construction contracts, as well as other forms of bespoke contracts. Much of Robert’s work involves giving strategic as well as legal advice. He has been particularly involved in the infrastructural development of Cambridge over the last decade or so. Robert is also a member of the Mills & Reeve China Desk.

Robert trained and qualified at Clifford Chance, spending time working in their Shanghai office.

Nottingham Law School (1998-2000), PhD, Chinese Politics, University of Newcastle (1993-97), Politics and East Asian Studies, University of Newcastle (1989-93).
