Career

With a Masters in Environmental Law from UKC – University of Kent at Canterbury (United Kingdom) and over 20 years of solid experience in Environmental Law, Sustainability, Environmental Management, and ESG, Flávia Reis has an extensive practice in the development of solutions for litigation and social and environmental issues in various branches of business, such as agribusiness, automotive, petrochemical, power generation, urban, and infrastructure. Her career highlights the development and approval of sustainability strategies with shareholders, boards of directors, and international funding agencies, as well as management and communication with stakeholders for the implementation of sustainability actions. She has extensive experience in licensing projects, including the preparation and technical and legal coordination of dozens of environmental studies of high complexity, as well as planning and monitoring of studies of indigenous, quilombola, traditional communities, and historical and archaeological heritage. Flávia also has strong performance in negotiations of agreements with Public Prosecutors, Environmental Agencies, IPHAN, and FUNAI, among others.
