Position

Robert has extensive experience in defending serious offences across the full spectrum of criminality. In particular, Robert has developed specific experience in defending serious offences of rape and sexual abuse.

Career

Robert qualified as the youngest solicitor-advocate in the UK back in 2006.  From 2007, he has practiced solely in the Crown Court defending in serious cases involving allegations of serious sexual abuse, drug conspiracy and serious violence. In 2016 Robert decided to cross qualify to the Bar of England and Wales where he began to develop his prosecution practice alongside his defence work.  Given that Robert is always so busy in his defence practice, he prosecutes at Grade 2 presently, although his Grade 3 application is pending.

Robert is regularly requested to defend clients as a result of his proven track record as an approachable advocate who always makes time to hear his client.
