Career

Daniel has more than 10 years’ experience in legal advice for businesses, focusing on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, labour, foreign investment, finance, the stock market, and regulatory. He represents national and international companies across different industries such as food and beverage, manufacturing, and services. Many of his clients feature in the 500 largest companies in Ecuador.

In the corporate field, Daniel advises his clients in relation to the prevention and mitigation of legal risk, expansion and growth of businesses, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring of liabilities, and project finance among others.

Daniel has represented various clients in administrative procedures relating to quality control, and has supported clients in investigation procedures by the Ministry of Production and Commerce. In addition, he assists clients in negotiating investment contracts with the Ecuadorian state.

In the labor area, Daniel advises economic groups and companies in matters relating to collective employment law, labor conflicts at both the administrative and judicial level, and provides support in day-to-day matters.

Daniel is board member of the Chamber of Industries and Production and has been boardmember of companies from both the manufacturing and technology services sectors.
