Tijana Nikolic is an experienced lawyer and a partner in our law firm, primarily involved in intellectual property and copyright protection, public procurement procedures, labor disputes, commercial and civil disputes.

She is a long-time advisor of a major Serbian copyright protection agency and a national organization for collective management of copyright related rights. She has advised several major domestic and international companies in the field of intellectual property and copyright protection and represented them in patent, trademark, and other procedures before domestic and international competent bodies, as well as in various disputes and court proceedings. She has also participated in drafting Serbian laws and amendments in this area.

Tijana Nikolic has in-depth legal expertise in the public procurement sector, advising and representing both bidders and contracting authorities in Serbia. She has been involved in numerous complex procedures and was engaged in the development of the new Serbian Public Procurement Law adopted in 2019.

Also, she has extensive experience in representing numerous companies before relevant authorities and courts in Serbia related to bankruptcy issues.  Her wealth of experience in this area allows her to help clients achieve their goals in insolvencies, including collection of claims, preparing reorganization plans, and purchasing assets in bankruptcy.

Tijana represents clients in labor disputes and advises clients on all aspects of labor law and employment relations, including hiring and termination of formal employment and other types of engagement, employee disciplinary measures and health and safety arrangements, and informs employers on all changes in the relevant legislation.

She has extensive experience in debt collection, representing numerous companies before relevant authorities and courts in Serbia. Tijana is primarily tasked with managing claims portfolios of investment companies, including representing clients in court proceedings, conducting negotiations and concluding in-court and out-of-court settlements and restructuring agreements, as well as giving advice on the collectability of claims and proposals concerning portfolio management.

She has successfully advised many domestic and international companies, non-profit organizations, and individuals in dispute resolution, as well as court proceedings and debt collection.
