Elizabeth Kenny joined our Investment Funds Group in April 2018. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kenny worked as a Manager in the Legal Team at KPMG in the UK, assisting various multi-disciplinary teams, both in the UK and Europe, in delivering an integrated solution to clients and also completed a secondment to the M&A team in Milan.

Ms. Kenny’s prior experience includes working as an Associate in the Corporate M&A team at DLA Piper in the UK, advising on M&A transactions (both domestic and cross-border with offshore counsel), MBOs, private equity investments, asset purchases and general company law matters.

At Loeb Smith Attorneys, Ms. Kenny advises on all aspects of the formation and launch of Cayman Islands investments funds investing in all asset classes (including private equity, venture capital, hedge, real estate, crypto).

Ms. Kenny has also specialised in providing legal assistance on a range of corporate matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, acquisition and disposal of shares and business assets, re-domiciliation of corporate vehicles from other jurisdictions to the Cayman Islands, shareholders’ rights issues and fiduciary duty issues for directors of companies and general partners of limited partnerships.
