Ahmed is a Senior Counsel with Mazghouny & Co. Prior to joining the practice, Ahmed was a partner with a tier 1 law firm in Cairo. With an experience spanning 25 years, he has been advising international and local companies and high net worth individuals on construction and real estate matters, including contracts drafting and review, registration, title searches and due diligence, real estate planning, as well as handling complex commercial, administrative and civil litigation.
Ahmed’s construction and real estate experience combines comprehensive legal know-how with in-depth industry knowledge and practical experience in the field. He prepares, negotiates and advises on the full range of construction documents, and is typically involved in all aspects of the construction of real estate assets under various schemes, including turnkey EPC, FIDIC and non-FIDIC single and split structures. He acts for developers, owner-occupiers, institutional investors, central and local government in residential, commercial and leisure developments.
