As a diligent legal professional, Khandakar Nilima Yasmin paved her career in experiencing a diverse arena of law that has widened her legal prudence and explored the career path enormously. While working as an Associate at Akhtar Imam & Associates (AIA), Nilima is responsible for dealing with all sorts of litigations, drafting, legal research, court appearance, hearing and assisting the Senior Counsels in conducting hearing before the High Court and Appellate Division alongside corporate affairs. Leveraging more than 6 (six) years of experience, her top strength focus on family laws, financial crimes, tort law, environment law, company and corporate laws, judicial review, industrial and labor laws and IT laws. Nilima had been associated as an In-house Lawyer of BELA (Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association) for 4 years which not only enriched her detailed experience to work on Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in Bangladesh, but also motivated her immensely to work on public interest matter in future ahead. Nilima believes in passion and continuing effort to progress oneself with professional integrity and ethical values is must for career growth that is reflected in her unique identity as a Legal Professional.
